The 20 Best Songs of 2017
With 2018 on the horizon, it is time for my annual list of favorite songs for the year. My obsession for K-Pop was refueled this year, so there are quite a few of those songs in the list, the remaining songs being in the Alternative or Pop genres. Here is my list (and feel free to comment your own favorite songs):

Attempting to Make Tteokbokki for the First Time
As I made clear with my previous post, Korean culture really interests me, so I decided that it was time to put my cooking skills to work and try to cook popular street food, tteokbokki or spicy rice cakes.

Why I Have Integrated Too Much K-Pop Into My Life
The multi-media world of k-pop has become somewhat of a global phenomenon, resonating with vast numbers of people. When put into perspective, this observation makes complete sense as by design k-pop is set up to have success abroad (English-lyrics, intense videos, etc.) I must admit, I have always been a huge k-pop junkie since my fetus days, but two years ago, I became hooked on it. Here is a list of why k-pop is amazing:

Montreal, Canada: June 22-24, 2017
This summer, my family and I took a quick road trip to Canada before I started my summer internship just for a brief vacation. This was one of the most memorable trips I have had: we stopped at Lake George for a night and we got to see the border between Canada.

Favorite Songs of 2016
I have been looking forward to making this post the entire year because YAY for music. 2016 has been a wonderful and fortunate music year, but also a tragic one. That being said, there have been amazing musical releases in 2k16. Here are some of my favorites (in no particular order):
11) Something to Believe In: Young the Giant
Young the Giant has become one of my favorite bands in 2016. It's all because of this song.10) Heathens: Twenty One Pilots
Let's just say I was a little too obsessed with this song when it first came out. Also, my life is Twenty One Pilots.9) Love Me: The 1975
I adore the 1975. They have a different sound that I love and this song has that.

A Quick-Review of "A Court of Mist and Fury" by Sarah J. Maas
Quick Facts:
Book Title: A Court of Mist and Fury
Author: Sarah J. Maas
My Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Part of A Court of Thorns and Roses series.
Genre: New Adult Fantasy
A Court of Mist and Fury is the second book in the ACOTAR series. ACOTAR is one of my favorite, if not my favorite, books of all time. Maas' world-building and character development is unreal. This is a New Adult Fantasy series that focuses around Feyre, a young huntress trying to keep her family alive. One day, while hunting, she kills a fairy. THAT IS ALL YOU SHOULD KNOW! It will surprise you so much. Just go read it.
