Beautiful Book Covers

Here are some of the most eye-catching covers of the books I read this year (plus Clockwork Angel because I read it at the end of last year and how could I not put such an amazing book with an amazing cover here).

Title: Unravel Me
Author: Tahereh Mafi
Rating: 4 out of 5
This is a young adult dystopian book.
I still have to finish this series. I need book three, but it's pretty good so far.

Title: A Court of Thorns and Roses
Author: Sarah J. Maas
Rating: 5 out of 5
This is a new adult fantasy book.
This is one of my favorite books of all time! I can't wait for the next book. The world is so complex and I am dying to know more.

Title: An Ember in the Ashes
Author: Sabaa Tahir
Rating: 5 out of 5
This is a young adult fantasy book.
I am so excited for the second book in this series. I really loved the government/society the author wrote about and how the dual points of view connected at the end.

Title: Everything Everything
Author: Nicola Yoon
Rating: 3 out of 5
This book is young adult contemporary.
While the premise was intriguing, the publicity in the book-loving community for this book and the high ratings gave me the feeling that this book would be one of my favorites, however my overall reading experience was lower than my expectations.

Title: The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer
Author: Michelle Hodkin
Rating: 4 out of 5
This is a young adult paranormal/psychological thriller.
The first book of this series was really good, but I felt like as the series continued, it fell a little flat for me.

Title: Clockwork Angel
Author: Cassandra Clare
Rating: 5 out of 5
This lovely book is a young adult fantasy.
The Infernal Devices is my favorite series out there. The world-building in it is amazing and the characters are unforgettable.

Title: Fangirl
Author: Rainbow Rowell
Rating: 5 out of 5
This is a young adult contemporary.
This book is so good. Every person who obsesses over fictional characters and worlds, is introverted, or just loves a good book should read this. I'm sure many people can relate to the main character.
