Hello, my loves.
I wanted to share with you a mix of a book haul and a summer must-read pile for me. I recently bought these books as they are the summer reading requirements for a class I am taking this school year. They are all books I would not gravitate towards, but regardless I am excited to read them and experience new genres. Plus, I love how all of the spines and covers all have the same colors on them. I love how the red, black, and white looks together. Here's the list:
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
I am ridiculously excited to read this book as it is centered around books. It is about a man who is a firefighter, but not the type of firefighters we think of. These ones burn books, which are illegal in this world. This book is sending 1984 vibes to me so hopefully they are similar since I loved that book.
The Crucible by Arthur Miller
I'm super excited to read this too. If you know me, I am OBSESSED (seriously) with the Salem Witch Trials. It is my favorite event in history and it fascinates me. This book is about those trials. It is a play, however, so that may change how a feel about it slightly, but I am still really excited to read it.
The Autobiography of Malcolm X by Malcolm X
As you might have guessed, this book is about Malcolm X and his life, which was so incredible and interesting. I am interested to see how I enjoy this book since it is non-fiction, but I think I will enjoy it.

So aesthetic! :) |
If you want to see a review of any of these books, let me know and I'll do it. These aren't the only books I will be reading this summer, but these are the minimum as they are required reading. I'll keep you posted on my reading here but also on my Goodreads account: @ReadListenLove
Xoxo,
Liza
